What would be glorious! We use our touch screen to its best advantage. We make an "iPod" looking program that behaives like on of the new iPods do. Add to that, our color picture is way better. Cool too if it could play their media too, but ogg is priority.

yeah..

with the coming of a 8gb hitachi harddrive, i would definetly like to see something better than an ipod interface.

Actually, there is but the software is buggy in disabling suspend.

tkcplayer was just that, an ogg player, aac player and had a previous version which looked like an ipod player.  visual eq and all.

problem was it is not free, and never fixed the suspend or random shutdown.  Very buggy but an good player it was before the sharprom 3.13 came around.

The problem is that half of the iPod interface is the scroll wheel, and there's no way to duplicate that the Zaurus.

pen touch screen?  its possible. since our screen responds to touch as well but make sure you have a nice screen protector.  Im using my nail too often compared to my stylus.  Then again, the ipod has texture and you know were to put your thump most of the time.

Why not have "guestures" instead of a specific place to wheel? You just have the "look" of the wheel, and the "screen".

If mine were white colored I'd stick one of these Apple stickers on it and fsck with people's heads.

Here's a "peek player" I wonder if I can get him to make it like an iPod?
