Xmahjongg 3.7 Compiled
« on: October 17, 2005, 05:49:32 pm »
Mahjongg is my favorite boardgame ever. I never came accross to this version before, and I have to say, this is a very nice piece of work. Best of all, it can be played on my Zaurus now!

The attached version is installed in /usr/games/xmahjongg, and has to be started from the commandline. Just play around with all the different options, and see if you like them. I certainly did

Don't forget to start with the option -t small, otherwise the board is too big to fit the screen. The small tileset fits most of the layouts (there are 24 of them!).

Oh, before I forget, maybe a quick question to Laze, what's the current unstable feed for pdaXrom RC11. I don't think it's a good idea to attach applications here. I've a few Java JVM's I want to update as well.

But for now, it's playtime. Have fun!

Laze,

Thanks for the info. This is probably worth a new thread, but what will it take for an application to be moved from the instable to the stable feed?

How do you collect and store build instructions for standard/optional packages to (re)build a feed from scratch? In my experience it can be very tricky to build certain packages. Is it a good idea to store this kind of info somewhere central?

cortez: You beat me to it, I already had the xmahjongg sources sitting on my cf card.  Great contribution, many thanks!
