Opiemediaplayer2 Plays To Fast
« on: November 08, 2005, 02:43:02 pm »
Hi,

I have problem with OpieMediaplayer2. All mp3 will played to fast.  I didn't found any option to correct the problem. Xmms works fine with normaly speed.

Zaurus SL-C1000
Opie 1.2.1 (build 21.Oct.2005)
Kernel: 2.4.20-3.5.3
OpenZaurus 3.5.3

Any idea?

Thanks,
Bepp

There is a fix for it on an Ipaq, I assume it's the same on the Zaurus. You need to go to handhelds.org and look, I can't remember what it is.

Went searching and:-

open $HOME/Settings/opiexine.cf
and delete the # in front of that one line there,

see if that cures it.

Hello Mjolinor,
you are great.

I have comment out the line:
# audio.oss_sync_method:softsync
and it works fine.

Thanks,
Bepp

I guess I was to fast.

The speed is now OK. But now I can't change the volume.
Neither in the menue bar nor on the player.

First I thought that this can be a problem by installing xmms and OpieMediaplayer together.

But after flushing  my zaurus new comlpete new (also deleting /home partitien) the problem didn't disappear.  :-(

Thanks,
Bepp
