Serial Console Possible With The Z?
« on: November 29, 2005, 06:44:26 pm »
I was wondering if it is possible/feasable to turn my Zaurus (SL-5500) into a serial console? I have to log in to a bunch of boxes, to, for instance, do kickstarts, and since a percentage of them are in the data center, it would be cool if I were able to plug my Z into them and use them as a console.

Is this doable?

Thanks,

Ok, but what about the cabling? (Or do I need to invest in a modem card?)
