C3100 Software

Hi,

I was searching for some software for C3100 and found theKomany.com.  They have a lot of their apps written for Zaurus 5600/B500 and C7xx models.  Sorry for my igorance, but will apps written for older models work on the C3100?  If not, is there a way to make it work? thanks

Most should work as long as you stay close to the Sharp ROM version (including Cacko).   SL-5500 apps are written for a lesser processor and the 5XXX series uses 1/4 of the resolution the 3100 has. The 7xx apps shoud work seemlessly. With the resolution change in the 5xxx apps, once installed, if you keep pressed the icon, a menu appears.... just uncheck the "change resolution" part.

I am playing with the TKphone app in my 3100 at demo level, but I have had no problem with other applications that my previous SL-5500 came with (the previous owner got some of them and passed them to me when I got from him my first zaurus)
