For Sale: Sl-5500
« on: January 22, 2006, 01:23:59 am »
The machine is not in pristine condition, it's showing a little wear around the corners; but it still works wonderfully well for a 5500. The plastic screen-cover broke; the CF card slot protector fell out and on to the subway tracks. I bought it last year, refurbed, on eBay.

However, I will include the extra battery I bought from Lauter, and the neoprene case from ThePouch.com, along with the USB cradle, the original windows install disk, and the battery extenders / rechargers I picked up from eBay. I'm keeping the wifi card, the CF card and the SD card I've been using.
It's runnning Sharp 3.13 right now but I can flash it to anything you want before I ship it.

All yours for $150 US shipped anywhere in North America. Money order, certified cheque or Paypal. Shipping on payment, by Canada Post insured parcel post.

Anybody interested?

Edit - I'm in Canada.

Maybe an extra half-hour. Which as you may know is quite a bit for a 5500.

I dunno ... I may actually have a buyer for the whole bundle, at the  Ad Astra science fiction convention at the end of the month. I'll have to think about just selling the battery.

Sold to a fellow member of the XandrOS User Forums who wants to experiment with it. I have no doubt web_dev will show up here sooner or later.
