(Edited on 03 Jul 2006):
I originally offered my Nokia 770 for sale on 09 Mar. Since a sale didn't work out, I kept it and have used it off and on since. Now I really need to sell it, since I need some funds to help off-set a new laptop I just purchased. So here is a revised listing:
Nokia 770, purchased 30 Jan 2006 from CompUSA. Generally, lightly used, but developed the common crack between usb and speaker connectors (seems to be mostly cosmetic). Has been flashed with the new 2006 OS. I am missing the fabric pouch, but everything else (box, etc.) is included.
I will also include my Stoway Bluetooth Keyboard, which worked great with the 2005 OS -- but I don't think the drivers are ready yet for the 2006 OS.
Asking price: $315.00 shipped only within CONUS (Contintental US). Paypal only and buyer who is not a new forum user. ATM only want to sell within US. PM if interested.
I decided to keep the zaurus since I am down to one device and I work mostly off-line. But here are several features of the Nokia 770 worth considering: (1) the screen is bigger, (2) it is geared around a mostly connected paridigm, (3) thus far Nokia is actively seeking to cultivate the devloper community, and (4) the biggest feature IMO is that community development seems to be centered around application development. Maemo-mapper and the port of Nethack are two cool examples.
