Timezone Europe/zurich
« on: March 20, 2006, 09:48:29 am »
Hi,

I have a little problem, when I try to synch my Zaurus, I alway get an offset of one hour. So I searched a bit and discovered something Strange. When I type the date commande on the zaurus I obtain

Mon Mar 20 15:34:54 Europe/Zurich 2006

When I change to Europe/Berlin I obtain:

Mon Mar 20 16:34:54 CET 2006

the CET is the same as on my desktop, so I think that the first entry wich displays Europe/Zurich is wrong. As you can notice I also get a difference of 1 hour when I change from one Timezone to another even if it should be the same.

I have absolutly no idea where this has to be changed, or I would have produced a patch, so if someone has a solution, or can direct me into the right direction it would be nice.

Thanks

Hrw

By default images contain only limited info about timezones as it take lot of space. Install "timezones-europe" package.
