Opie Media Player - Volume Has No Effect (5600)
« on: March 20, 2006, 06:55:48 pm »
Hi All,

Sorry for the flurry of questions!  I was trying out opie mediaplayer and after alterint ghte opiexine.conf it seems to play files just fine.  Now, the problem I'm having is that if I raise or lower the volume either in the volume applet or in the MediaPlayer, I see visible changes in terms of the meters for both (they're synced to each other) but the audible volume remains the same (i.e. I can put it to max or none but all plays the same).

Any ideas?

Thanks!
steven

Same for me.
The volume applet in the taskbar has no effect either.

I just installed opie-mediaplayer1 and that works much better.
up/down - volume
left/right - prev/next
