where do i start?
anyone got it (joystick) working already?
i didn't find anything here in the forum

I got one working with MAME. Just plugged it in and played with a few command line options till it worked.

I think the version of MAME was using SDL but I'm having a hard time remembering where it was.

Not quite related, but is it possible to compile drivers for an Xbox 360 controller? Noting these, it seems very messy or infeasible. And noting the path of the source, it seems that it's for the 2.6 kernel. But it would be nice if it was possible.
