What Controls Where Screenshots Go?

I am wondering what file controls the directory that a screenshot is saved into?
The screenshot files (*.bmp) are placed in /Screen_Files (depending on what cards are inserted).
3 places, 3 scenarios.
1. Both CF and SD card inserted, it goes to the CF card (mnt/cf/Screen_Files)
2. Just SD card inserted, it goes to SD card (mnt/card/Screen_Files)
3. No CF or SD card inserted, it goes to Hdd3 (/Hdd3/Screen_Files)

Most of the time I have just my Picsel Browser SD card inserted, and I want to "direct" the screen caps to /Hdd3.
I don't want to "Over-use" my Picsel card, (It was expensive!), and I don't use it for copying or moving files.
How can this be done? How can I make the screencaps go to /Hdd3 all the time?

Jon,

If you use the command scshotram it should store the picture in RAM (I don't know if there is a command to save to HD as I have a 1000)

scshotcf and scshotsd save to CF and SD respectively.

I have written a script (actually, modified Meanie's pdaXrom screencap script) that you can change the order of where you want to save caps based on what cards are present.  It probably won't be of use to you because you want to default to HD, but I will upload it here in case someone wants it.

Advantages over default screenshot applet in Cacko/Sharp
1. no more large bitmap files created. (it creates *.png)
2. no need to rotate images. (images are created in landscape)
3. no need to convert bitmaps to *.jpg to decrease filesize
4. filesize is exactly the same as a converted *.bmp > *.jpg using 15% compression.
5. much easier to post screenshots on this forum while online on your 'Z'
6. no desktop PC needed.
It stores the screenshot files in /hdd3/Documents/image/png/
Zaurii without /hdd3 may have files stored in the Documents folder. I don't know, this applet was made in Feb, 2002.
If you look at my attached pic, it's a small icon that looks like a Fuji throw-away green camera.
(Between the clipboard applet and the speaker applet)
