Keymap For Ubs-keyboard

Hi,
I bought a USB-Keyboard and I would like to use the german keymap on it. So I need a different Keymap on the internal Keyb than on the usb-keyb. Is this possible?

I try to write a usb-hotplug script that run just "xmodmap /etc/X11/kb/german-usb.map" when I plug in my USB-Keyb. But it don't work because I don't know how exactly the hotplug system works.
Can anybody give me a tip how to write this script?

it works fine with the .xinitrc file, but then i need to restart the x-server every time i whant to use the keyboard.
I know what I have to write into the script but I don't know where to put the script and how to configure hotplug, that it run the script when plug in the keyboard
