Usb Mini-a Bluetooth Dongles
« on: May 09, 2006, 05:14:59 am »
I'd like to use a USB Bluetooth dongle on the Z but not with an intermediary cable. I wasn't successful in finding a USB mini-A Bluetooth dongle on the web, that would plug directly into the Z's port.

Does any such dongle exist?

Dodgy, you will end up either cracking the dongle or, worst still, breaking your motherboard.

I don't know if this will work for bluetooth, but it allows me to mount USB "thumb" drives on my Zaurus SL6000.

My Socket bluetooth dongle sets up easily and works very reliably under Cacko 1.23.  I use a very short cable from Iriver similar to the one cvmiller linked to. I would not use a direct connection even if available because of the likelihood of eventual damage.
