Well, I'm sure I'm not the only person that uses it, and while it's hardly as graphically intensive as say Myspace or XANGA, it would be nice to be able to easily update my LJ from my GPRS connection. There are already linux clients available and reccomended on www.livejournal.com, so I was wondering, what would be the chances of looking at the source code and hocking together a simple QT app to update over the HTTP protocol? (Telnet, for some reason, refuses to work under O2 Pay As You Go GPRS. .  Same for MSN and AOL IM clients - Although, I have managed to scan my gateway once, and it listed as very few open ports Probably why.)

I know, I keep asking for programs, and i really should learn to do it myself. . . But since I haven't, What do ya say, eh?

That would be nice, but I just post to mine via email, or directly on the site.

You have to have a Paid-level account to post by email, and POP3 is yet ANOTHER thing blocked by O2. So I have to post using the site, which is very expensive to do on a O2 Pay and Go account.
