Does anyone try to use this program and USB tv tuner?

They say that this program allows only 2 kinds of tv tuner, but if we find these tv tuner's main chipset, then we may buy cheaper one and use it.

i have heard that SD tuners work over usb 1.1 due to the low bandwidth and the fact that its all interlaced
