Wireless Access
« on: June 28, 2006, 11:33:24 am »
Hi All

I'm currently giving beta3 a renewed go, as that's supposedly the most stable for my C1000.

I have an Origo Wireless Compact Flash Card. Before I type startx, this card's green LED blinks in a continuous pattern, not the standard intermittent pattern of a connected wireless card. When I try and ping a website, it doesn't work.

I went into X and the blinking ceased. PdaXrom's CF/SD card calls this card a:

Code: [Select]
Seneo NL-2011CD PLUS Ext2 Mercury
Anyone else with this card? Anyone know how to get it working?

Thanks!

when you are in the shelll is isnt been managed by the "lan / wifi app"

Once you enter the X server... it that applet tried to manage the card...

open lan/wifi applet in setting and type in your ESSID just so you know your connecting to your own access point...

close out... with in seconds it will establish a connection pull an IP via DHCP...

Your in...

NOTE! this it the setup for a Non-WEP and DHCP AP

If you have 1 or both of the above... let me know...

I'm easily frustrated with all the ROMs, they all need so much tweaking, nothing works perfectly enough out of the box.
