hopefully either someone will break out of the qtopia gui into a shell, or get ssh running or some sort of console, and take a look into the filesystem and see what's useful.

or, there will be a firmware upgrade which will be analysable in some way.

I note that Sony have dabbled before with "my life online" - used to be a Palm/Clie suite and web club, but it foundered.

I note too that Sony have dabbled with linux more than a few times - their TX laptops have a rapid turn-on option from power-up, which is a media viewer (pictures, music, DVDs), and is in fact a mini linux install.
