I have visited ROAD (the company who makes the HandyPC) in April this year and had a look at the HandyPC.
If all goes well I'll soon have such a device for intensive testing.
In that 30 minutes I could try it out in April it seemed like a very sophisticated device but with some glitches.
I'll not go into detail here because what I have tested was a prototype. These glitches may well be fixed when the device comes to the market.
I see the greatest disadvantage in the half-VGA screen (640x240), which may prevent many QTopia apps from being used conveniently.
If the developers take the time to adapt their GUI layouts to that resolution it would be great, but I think many of them will not do so.
So I hope the L101 (planned larger version of the S101) will solve that issue.
BTW: ROAD has an English homepage as well:
http://www.road-gmbh.de/en/index.htmlAs I understood, the device is more meant to be a remote device for the home/office PC than a stand-alone mini PC. It will be equipped with a lot of remote access services (NX, VNC etc.)
So, who will develop a pdaXrom for it?
