I know a lot has been said about me in the past, but I still want to be part of this community and I want to set the record straight. I have had my idenity stolen from me three times in the past five years, which had me back out of some deals that happened in here. I did try to trade my Treo 650GSM for a Simpad from Dr. Asnar from France, but my Treo got damaged and was returned to me, and his Simpad never reached me. As for Tony LaCour and the trade for his HP Ipaq 2750, I never set that up, that was someone else who used my good name. It took three months and the help of the authorities to track them down and return Mr. LaCour's property.

I do want to be part of this community, I just recently purchased a new Zaurus SL-C3100 from Ebay, and I need some help in setting it up, I have no want or need to trade/sell in this community, I only want to participate in the discussion forums.

I invite any advice in learning about my new Zaurus, but I do not want any unjustified abuse.

I have found KA/Pi and KO/Pi as great replacements for the contacts and calander for the Z, but I have not found a decent photo viewer, a must for me being a digital photograher. I also have had no luck in syncing my 3100 to transfer my appointments to Outlook. Anyone out there have any ideas?

I use the standard Intellisync software to sync Outlook to the Sharp built in PIM apps, and then use the Sharp DTM sync option in KO/Pi to get the data into KO/Pi.  Obviously to get data both ways you need to perform a Sharp DTM sync, Outlook sync, and then a final Sharp DTM sync, but it does work.

However, this is with a 5500 (v3 ROM), but the same procedure should work fine with the C3100.

Is there anyone else who has had success with this, I think my sync problems may be the fact that my Z has Crako 1.23 lite on it. Also, I'm looking for a decent photo/video viewer and some good puzzle/strategy games. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I just had my first crash, but I was able to flash the ROM, and bring Crako back up. Not exactly sure what happened, at first I thought it was tkcgallery, but it wasn't. BTW tkcgallery is a wonderful photo viewer that I bought, but I still need a movie viewer better than the standard one that comes with the Z.

Did not want to work on my C3100, also I have tried several configs on my Sandisk Ultra II 2GB SD card, and it not work with the new sd driver, what cards do work with the new driver?

after you install it there are a couple of thinsg you still have to do, such as invoke mplayer with  "-vo bvdd" to use the framebuffer in YUV mode.

if you use kino then you have to add it somewhere in the options (on the first page i belive as "command line args")

You should add more details - like how you invented many weird stories [far too many to list them all], how you could not give me any proof of you sending your treo or either receiving it back [I gave you all the paperwork I had prooving the Simpad was sent], and how in the end you did not keep the  agreement we had made in case one parcel was lost - that the one without any device would be refunded half of its cost by the other - claiming this was blackmail after starting to pay [he tried to soften me up with financial problems stories, so I settled for $20 per month hoping it would teach him a valuable lesson about stealing and lying].

I beleive I have been more than patient with you. I offered you a chance to amend yourself - you do not seem to be worth loosing more time. So now I am very interested in exposing your lies, and avoiding other people from being ripped off.

If you think you are only saying the truth, you have nothing to fear, and will certainly be happy if I post our full email exchange we had, to let everyone know how "honest" you are?

I'm just not that good with the programming side of Linux. Are there any other video players out there that do not require any initial tweeks to use?

I offer to publish everything. Why would you refuse ? It will certainly end up everything (for me at least) and will clean your reputation if you said the whole truth.

To continue with one of my previous questions, what are the best SD cards at 1GB and higher (hopefully) that work with the SL-C3100?
