no, to be honest, i've discovered OpenBSD on my C3000 and i'm spending time (nights!) compiling packages to it ! i really think openbsd is THE zaurus distro we are waiting (specially for the C3000!!!), although there are still some quirks...

pdaXrom seems to be getting a lot of new packages recently.
I think there are two key issues for Z software:
1) the quality of the device drivers in the kernel (i.e. whether to stick with sharp & derivatives, especially cacko, and get stability at the cost of features, or to go with OZ and k2.6.17 etc).
2) the ease of porting apps designed for PDA use to the GUI (whether GTK/X11 like GPE, qtopie or opie, or plain X11).
which way you lean for 1 comes down to whether you want a PDA or a mini linux workstation. For 2, sadly, you have to make the choice because the Z doesn't have the raw performance to load a full set of drivers and libraries to run the best apps from the different gui systems all at the same time.
I think a lot of people start with Cacko, might dip their feet in OZ, and depending how they get on, stick with OZ or even jump to pdaXrom, or go back to Cacko and wait patiently for a slow evolution rather than the OZ bleeding-edge revolution.
