You must have missed the link on my post....
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=149631\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

I found the link ...
I liked nite-ize the moment I found them on the web, but One problem : try to find them in Belgium !

Most of the time I carry my c3100 in a piel frama case I got from pulster. When it gets rough, I use my grindergear case (now sold as extreme gear).

The LowePro D-Pods-40 is what I use and is sold in Belgium at the MediaMarkt (at least at the Nieuwstraat - Brussels branch). It seems to be similar to the nite-ize, but is a bit taller (can leave WiFi card inside and still close flap comfortably). The D-Pods does make the Z a bit thicker because of the large flap and reinforced front compartment.

I bought a belt clip case from Nutshell in New Zealand as soon as I got my 3100 early last year. It's pretty good fit, and even copes with my Ambicom WiFi card which I leave in most of the time, with a socket BT card residing in the front pocket...

It's a 'Nutshell 211' and cost me ~£30 last year.

http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID1268742P520...-Belt-Case.aspx

Also if anyone's interested, I made a little Perspex deskstand for it as well.

See the attached piccies of the case & stand...

I use a nintendo ds case...Icarry my wallet phone and z in it, looks like a purse though, but no one really questions a guy with a purse when he's 230lbs and 5'1" so dont have musch problems with that.

I have a cheapie Case Logic "case" which is just a sleeve with stretchy sides that clips onto my belt--actually works very well, although I wish the sides were just a bit looser, as occasionally they will press the power button while walking around and help drain the battery.  On the other hand, it works just fine.

Incidentally, if you like carrying your PDA in your shirt, the "5.11 Tactical Shirt" has a "napoleon pocket" behind its real pocket that not only fits the Zaurus just fine, but won't let it fall out when you lean over--and it carries the weight well enough that you don't look too lumpy.

Teeny bit spendy (about $50 USD), and you have to put up with ordering them from places that try to be entirely too manly (SO TACTICAL!  lol), but they really are good shirts--sturdy, lots of storage, vented, and a handy pen pocket on the left sleeve.

http://www.511tactical.com/index.asp?dlrID...=2&number=72157

I like their pants too, but they're just a wee bit too cargo-y for all the time (although they do carry a ton of stuff and don't look too bad doing so).  And if you do a lot of cable running and stuff, the hidden "removable kneepad pockets" may actually come in handy...

Repeating an edit to my 12-2006 post here:  after several months of inexplicable lockups of my C1000, I have traced the source of the problem to...my beloved belt case! I now no longer use the D-Pods 40 case, which I believe was causing my lid to shift just enough to change the state of one or both of the lid switches while still on my belt. I haven't tracked down the exact mechanism--I've contented myself with the complete disappearance of the lockup problem when I leave my C1000 out of the case. The problem is no fault of LowePro, of course, since they don't sell this product as a PDA case. But a word to the wise: your case shouldn't cause or allow your screen/lid to move at all when your Zaurus is stored in it.

What a great idea! As soon as my SL-C1000 shows up, I'll head right down to the store and try them out. I like the looks of this one from Microcenter. http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_...duct_id=0251868 $11!

that looks to be a really nice case. I wonder if it'd be big enough for a Nokia N800 as well?

fx: google google

Zaurus: 128x87x24 mm

N800 measures 144x75x13mm and weighs 206 grams

DS 148.7 millimeters (5.85 inches) wide, 84.7 millimeters (3.33 inches) long, 28.9 millimeters (1.13 inches) tall.

DS Lite measures 133.0mm x 73.9mm x 21.5mm

so, if it fits the DS it'll fit the N800 and the Zaurus. If it fits the DS lite it probably won't fit the Z and definitely NOT the N800

-- edit2 --
I just bought the intec case from ebay, not too expensive and smarter than the soft wallet I've previously been using. Moreover, now the DS is an antique, cases for them will also disappear off the shelves so don't leave it too late!

--- edit1 ---
hmm, trying to find a UK seller of this case... and I realised that there are some DS stands like this:
[a href=\"http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/11132.htm]http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/11132.htm[/url]
which would probably fit the Zaurus too

hmmm, something like this would be quite interesting if it could be adapted:

Bummer. I failed to notice that the DS light was that much smaller than the DS.
I'll probably still try it if the store has it.
