https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...544&hl=gw-cf11xLinks to a couple of files which should get my wi-fi card working. Could you please include these drivers in the next release please.
I've just remembered I can use
xrandr -s 0 (for 640x480) or
xrandr -s 1 (for 320x240)
So I have something a bit more useable on my c3100 now but I just discovered I don't have an internal storage option under the USB settings tool and that hda1 (ext3 /) is mounted twice. hda2 is swap and hda3 is vfat.
After I'd installed beta 3 I did this:
Tried just Installing the pdaXii13 hdimage but not installing any kernel or bootloader. After reboot it booted into pdaXrom b3 like I'd done nothing.
Tried installing the pdaXii13 c3000 kernel - root fs error on boot
Installed b3 kernel by renaming it to correct name for pdaXii13 updater.sh (0.23) to find it and that takes me back to where I am now with a half-working install just like I had before I'd installed beta 3 in that pdaXii13 now boots but with the
Unknown flash (not normal NAND)
Error (x4) I mentioned before.
Meanie, you say this is because it is a Cacko kernel but there is surely no trace of Cacko on my Z now and as I say I get that error by using the c3100 kernel from pdaXrom b3.
Note that when I installed beta 3 I still had my MD partitioned 3 ways from my experimental pdaXii13 install but that didn't seem to cause any problem. Should I have my MD partitioned like a factory drive before I install b3 or does it make no difference?
Maybe what I've got is as good as it 5.2 gets for c3100?
EDIT
'nother coupla things not working with my current 5.2/c3100 setup is holding down FN and tapping for right-click and the CPU config tool. Two things I found to be working now are external USB disks and bvdd video.
