How Do I Rotate Screen After Exit X?
« on: February 06, 2007, 03:05:00 pm »
Recently I am in love with the psx4zaurus..
But when I execute it outside X, it gives me a screen in portrait mode with flashy video (looks like interlace is not working correctly)

Any hint on how to get it in landscape mode outside X?

I think the SDL libs that come with the emulator allow for that. Are you using those?

Bringing an old post back. I have beta3_sdl_1.2.9_armv5tel.ipk installed. (This comes with latest version of psx4zaurus_080407)
My screen is always rotated to portrait outside of X when launching psx4zaurus.
Is there a command I need to use before launching the emulator to make it run in landscape outside of X?

I don't think so. I never tried it, however, as I was running r121 at the time.

I'm posting a cruddy photo taken with my Palm. (It's the only digital camera I have at the moment).
It's fuzzy, but you can see it shows the title screen repeated 3 times. It shows 2 full copies of the startup screen and 2 half title screens, split up on either side.
This image occupies only the "top" quarter of the rotated portrait screen.
What causes this?
I have read in many forum posts about zpsx that it is supposed to run in fullscreen in landscape mode outside of X.

I finally got it!
It took awhile, and I found instructions in an older thread that says to uninstall any SDL libs before installing SDL 1.2.9
Meanie's newest version of pdaxii13-v2 includes SDL 1.2.12
Well both of these SDL libs would install together. I had both versions installed. So I uninstalled the 1.2.12 version and re-installed the 1.2.9 version.
I hope I don't bork my pdaxii13-v2 installation, but now I have psx4zaurus running in full screen outside of X !
