A Couple Questions About Pdaxqtrom
« on: July 23, 2007, 10:55:08 am »
First of all, pdaXqtrom is great!!! (thanks Meanie)
I do have a couple little things I can't seem to get worked out.

First, in Fluxbox (and Firefox as well) the shifted state of the "/" and "," keys are reversed.
They work as expected in the sharp rom applications.

Second, When I resize a dialog box in Firefox it doesn't keep the setting after shutting it down.
I fiddled with the settings in Fluxbox but it doesn't make any difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug

For the '/' and ',' keys, you mean that you press the key normally and you get a '/'? That is normal pdaX behavior. It makes typing paths much easier. If you want to reverse it, edit the /etc/X11/kb/(model)/xmodmap_us file and reverse 'slash' and 'comma' where they appear.
SL-C750- pdaXrom beta 1 (mostly unused)
Current distro: Gentoo

Thanks, that's just what I needed.

I also figured out the Firefox window positioning.
I had to let Firefox position its own windows with localstore.rdf, not with Fluxbox.
