Well, I like to be one of those obsoletes.
I bougth my SL-5500 after having a C-3200, and the collie seems very useful to me for daily use. In fact, almost any C-3200 software runs on it. Not as fast than in the new model, but fast enough. It's a great machine.
There are a lot of resources but hard to found rigth when they are needed.
People like antikx, are making an effort to maintain the information referred, for example, to SD compatibility.
It's possible that some more work could be done to set up a lot of information that is messed and hard to find at the forum, as well as all the stuff related that people has shown in this post. Perhaps, something like Meanie's z3book.
It's hard to sail along hundred links.
