Why You Should Register On The Wiki
« on: October 01, 2007, 01:25:22 pm »
Please register if you think you want to edit on the wiki.

Reasons to register for your benefit:

1. If you register then you will not get caught by IP bans on vandals that use your range of IP addresses.
2. If you register then you can put something on your User page and people will be able to discuss your edits with you.
3. If you register then you will not be inconvenienced by changes to the Wiki that may may limit editing by non-registered editors.

Reasons to register for Wiki admin benefit:

1. When checking for vandalism, spambots and gibberbots we tend to look first at edits made by an IP Address. This is made more time-consuming if the anonymous editor is acting in good faith and making useful contributions.
