 A newbie in Linux.

I am trying to issue make  command for a makefile meant for ARM based controller.
Using forums and some other help materials, i am now successful in debugging most of the errors i faced during compilation but at this point of time, I am stuck with following error

arm-linux-strip libc_nonshared.a

arm-linux-strip: File format not recognized

make[2]: [all] Error 1 (ignored)

A lot has been discussed abt this on forums re modiying the files , tried out all tht i could, nothing seems to be working.. i need some support/guidance from all of you here.

Try doing a

Code: [Select]
file /path/to/
It may not be an ARM lib.
SL-C750- pdaXrom beta 1 (mostly unused)
Current distro: Gentoo
