sakura is VTE based, so I present another VTE based terminal emulator here.
evilvte is simpler than sakura.
It supports almost everything VTE provides.
It also supports tabs, tabbar autohide, and switch encoding at runtime.
Configuration is via editing source code and recompilation.
However, VTE is very big and fat, and is not suitable for English-only users.
