Is There A Video Input Device Made For Composite Input?
« on: May 30, 2008, 10:12:46 pm »
I'm looking for a device, probably USB, that has a composite video jack that I can use to view a signal strength meter on a digital TV tuner.
I don't mind that USB is 1.1, and this would never work for watching live TV or movies. I just want to hook up a digital TV tuner to the Zaurus and view it's signal strength meter while adjusting my attic antenna.

About 4 weeks ago I lugged a very heavy 25" TV up into my attic, hooked it up to the digital tuner and viewed the signal meter while moving my antenna to more desirable location. I cannot do this very often. Now that the weather has warmed up and the trees are full of leaves, the antenna needs adjusting again, but I don't want to lug that TV up there, and I really don't want to run up and down the stairs and ladder 10 times to get a good signal.

EDIT:
Nevermind, I got some ideas from AVS forums.
I'm either going to get a cheap 5 inch B/W TV at the local pawn shop, or purchase one of the portable DVD players with AV in.
