Have got a Planex GW-CF11X wifi card and the wireless network I use is WPA-PSK. Now I have seen some posts where some people have managed to get their card working with WPA. I came across WPA_GUI and am not sure how I am supposed to use it. I did download the tgz file but it was just a bunch of source files and I have no idea how to use them and i couldn't find an ipk file.
Have gone to network in settings and in the config tab there is no SSID box only ESS-ID, is this the same? Haven't tried to get WEP working yet but the card seems to be recognised when i plug it in as it is correctly identified and lights up briefly.
Any help appreciated

ESSID is SSID, WPA_GUI likely needs to be compiled in order to be of use, and, unfortuantely, will likely not work on Cacko.

Hope that helps.

This is not a GUI, but will get WPA working in Cacko.
There used to be a very helpful page on WPA for Cacko at tyrannozaurus, but it seems to be gone now.
I had previously saved this webpage for offline viewing. It describes in detail with pictures howto setup WPA in Cacko.
Unzip the attached file and open "WPA-Cacko@tyrannozaurus.htm" in a browser.
Scroll about half way down for WPA instructions.

I had to zip this file as there isn't a way to attach offline webpages to the forum.
