Hi,

http://androidzaurus.seesaa.net/article/135889863.html

This is about creating a microSD card used to boot into Android 2.0 "Eclair". Can't test it on mine as I haven't received my card yet.

To be honest, when I saw this I discarded my intention to try it pretty quickly. Without WiFi this is pretty useless.

it's still worth *trying* so that you can provide feedback to the guy who's working on it, otherwise without any interest he's not likely to try and fix it. even simply "I installed it and I tweaked the following to make it start up" is worthwhile.

I totally agree...

I have an 8gb sd card... I think the partition is too large..

I get this error

Jul  3 02:13:28 qemu-arm kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev mmcblk0, sector 15523576
Jul  3 02:13:28 qemu-arm kernel: Buffer I/O error on device mmcblk0, logical block 1940447
Jul  3 02:13:28 qemu-arm kernel: EXT3 FS on mmcblk0p1, internal journal
Jul  3 02:13:28 qemu-arm kernel: static no change 0 -> 0.
Jul  3 02:13:29 qemu-arm modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.28.10-android/modules.dep: No such file or directory
Jul  3 02:13:31 qemu-arm modprobe: FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.28.10-android/modules.dep: No such file or directory

Jul  3 02:13:41 qemu-arm init: ttyS0 main process ended, respawning

complete syslog attached

I want to get the dumb linux errors fixed before I bug the developer...
