/dev/shm/.operasave

Does anyone know what this is? I connected to the local WLAN and started up Opera, which complained that there were certificate problems. I clicked \"Accept,\" after which, apparently, Opera tried repeatedly to open a (nonexistant) file called /dev/shm/.operasave, failed, and gave up.

Don\'t know about the /dev/shm part...  On my Sharp 3.0 ROM, Opera uses a directory called /home/zaurus/.operasave

You may want to try creating the .operasave dir by hand in the home dir of whatever user (zaurus, root, etc.) you\'re logged in as & make sure that it has write permission.

/dev/shm is a temporary ram based folder - basically a ram drive for saving cache etc - faster than writing to flash or SD/CF cards or harddisks, more commonly used on Linux desktops where RAM is readily available
