opie-ftp "missing" a library
« on: March 30, 2004, 08:40:48 am »
I installed the opie-ftp package to RAM on my 5500 (running OZ 3.3.5), but when I try to run it I get the \"error while opening shared libraries/no such file or directory\" message, telling me \"libftplib.so.1\" does\'t exist.

As I presume this library must be there somewhere (wouldn\'t it be installed with the package, or else already present on OZ?), would I need to symlink to it somehow? (I seem to get a good few \"failed to link\" messages when I install packages to RAM, especially \"failed to link /mnt/ram/ to .\", IIRC.)

Many thanks,
Tim
