Login from console impossible

Hi Folks

Does anybody know how to login from console? I run a 5500 with OZ 3.3.5 and now it requires after booting a login and my keyboard doesn\'t seem to operate. I can get only some cryptic control characters but nothing else. I tried to type in root without proper feedback as login but it doesn\'t work.

Any hints are appreciated

My friend, you had a bad flash, possibly a checksum error or even the wrong version of the file.  I had a similar problem, as for the process is different on the 5600, but sounds like rom was corrupt or possibly never flashed.  Good luck.

It definately flashed because this was the first switch to OZ from Sharp rom. Meanwhile I reflashed in desparation and have OZ and Opie working again but I don\'t dare to get me in the same situation.
