Overheating Problem? The Phawx Shows How To Solve
« on: November 10, 2016, 04:12:40 pm »
I noticed that The Phawx has two of these, one with the x7-8700 and the other with the x7-8750 Intel SoC.

He dismantled one of them because there's a problem with heat dissipation, it seems there's poor thermal couple between the CPU and the metal heat spreader.

Ok...

It seems only the early 8750 are affected by the plastic film.
Still my device sometimes gets pretty hot.
