My SL-5500 is vastly superior to my old palm and my old iPaq. I've written a shell script that pulls the needed data out of PortaBase, rsyncs it to my pc, does the editing on the files, then puts the new  files on the Zaurus. Again, I just wanted to say thank you for all the help everyone has provided
