Bought the AirGlass Brotect Screen Protector by Bedifol GmbH. It does not fit perfectly.

So, I mailed them the screen protector removed from my Gemini for their review and whatever.

Maybe they will use it to fine-tune their tooling and re-offer the Brotect as guaranteed-to-fit the Gemini. Maybe not.

BTW, they then refunded my $8.23 purchase.

I just changed job and my new employer has a fancy 3D printer. If anyone has a design for covers for the Gemini please let me know.
If anyone has design skills and wants to design covers, I will print off two sets and send you a set for free.

The design must be made freely available on one of the popular repositories for others to use.

I'd be extremely interested if you could publish the models in a 3D printing compatible format, such as STL, Collada, OBJ, X3D, etc...

Of course, that is contingent on whether you can get hi-rez scans or the original design details.

Here's a tip:

I've found my Gemini to be a little bit slippy-slidey on some smooth table surfaces, notably the tables on CrossCountry and East Coast Main Line trains (especially when they're running at speed).

So I ordered these self-adhesive gel feet from Amazon. (£2.35 for 60 of them.) They're absolutely perfect: they stick to the Gemini shell reasonably tightly but no so much as to be impossible to remove without damaging the case, and they're sufficiently low profile that the Gemini still fits inside the Planet Computers leather wallet case with four of them attached — they add barely anything to its dimensions.

Recommended!

thanks Charlie, those look useful.
they're 4mm thick. how does that affect the hinge, does it sit on a desk nicely or get more wobbly because he screen is higher?

I've got two at the rear about 5mm ahead of the hinge. When the Gemini is open and the screen fully back, the hinge props up the screen: but if I push down the hinge-end of the keyboard a little, the screen tilts up a few degrees and the rear feet take its weight quite nicely while I'm typing. Either way, the front feet are in contact with my desk and stop it sliding around.

This bag seems to be a good fit. Maybe it can be found online somewhere.

The designers must weep: they expend all their effort and ingenuity in making phones and laptops as thin as humanly possible, shaving off every possible millimetre — and then people keep them in great big thick cases!

they use the latest "space age" materials, state of the art manufacturing techniques, and owners wraps the product up in a bit of dead cow!

Here's what I'm using as a case right now: Southern Seas 4x Grey Soft Touch Microfibre Pouch Glasses Sunglasses Spectacles Protection Bag. Drawstring padded microfiber bag: costs £5.49 for four of the things on Amazon.co.uk, including delivery. It weighs next to nothing, and is exactly the right size for a Gemini.

(I'd prefer black, but the product photos of black microfiber cases on Amazon are, ahem, impossible to make out. So I picked one I could at least visualize, and found it works really well.)

I am using an old case that I used for my Casio Business Navigator back in the day. It fits like a glove and has room for a pen and some business cards. I like it a lot.

Mine is from the German brand Dicota, custom made for Casio, but there are others like it for nearly noting on Ebay (often with an organizer included   )

Here's how it looks like:

This looks just like what I've been wanting for my Gemini, a case that contains and protects it but once opened allows the Gemini to be opened and used without removing it from the case. The problem: How do we go about getting one in the U.K?
