So, with the latest patch update (and maybe before), I’m seeing something annoying with the emoticon and symbol pickers you can pop up with the FN+<some key> combos. It brings up the soft keyboard, and when you dismiss it, apps like Chrome and Hangouts seem to stay resized to the size with the soft keyboard — there’s a big white rectangle on the bottom half of the screen. Through some random combination of rotating, app quitting, rubbing my stomach while patting my head, and so forth I can occasionally get the apps to properly resize again.
Has anyone else seen this? Or better yet, found a workaround for restoring app size? It’s a drag when I accidentally do this in Hangouts, because the resulting window is too small to see incoming messages after I respond.
