Wanted: Any clamshell model of the Sharp Zaurus
« on: July 10, 2018, 05:56:42 am »
I am looking for any clam shell model, (preferably the easiest for you to let go, ((and the cheapest))). Please consider if you are looking at letting go any spares you have. I am located in Florida, if that's of any matter.

Thankyou in advance.

The easiest way to find a second-hand Zaurus is on the Japanese Yahoo Auction site:

http://buyee.jp/item/search/query/sharp%20...anslationType=1

You’ll always find at least a couple of Zauruses on sale there, though you’ll have to bid them via an international relay, like Buyee in the above link, the Japanese sellers usually don’t ship overseas.  I have bought many Zauruses on Auction in the past, and I can recommend Buyee’s service. Prices range from 17$ (for an SL-C700) to 70$ (SL-C3200) including the relayer’s fees, shipping (at least to Europe) is roughly 35$ (you need to pay for both the shipping from the seller and the relayer, and from the relayer to you), and I roughly paid 17-23$ for the customs. You can cut the fees by choosing a Lite Plan (no insured delivery and package inspection upon arrival – I used them but I found they weren’t necessary, all the items I have ordered were in working order and not damaged), or by choosing a different relayer which allows you to declare the shipment’s value as 0 (e.g. fromjapan.com).
