Accessing android from within linux?

Sorry, if this has allready been asked couldnt find anything in the search.

Is there a way to access android files (f.e. DCIM) from gemian?

userdata from Android is in partition 44 (i.e. /dev/mmcblk0p44 ). But the partition is encrypted on my Cosmo. I don't know how to mount such an encrypted android partition.
