I think we should embrace our Z\'s a little more instead of griping about which one is the best. If you actually think about it we have more technology in the palm of out hands than what was used in the lunar landing mission,(moon, haha that\'s another story). I\'ve heard different people down Z\'s because it\'s not their flavor, opions are good, however, try not to deter a future Zaurite on his/her mission.Who knows they could be the next ROM developer.

I\'ve always said... the 760 is all I need.  Can it be improved, hell yes... for me,
]128MB ram, sure... how \'bout 1 GB? :-]  cf?  12GB... do I need all that? no.
processor? 1GHz?  heheh.

this device is awesome.  it does everything I need. everything.    I now have
all that I need (unix/linux + x windows) ... in my shirt pocket.  Now I can sit
back and watch all the specs on things increase across the board -- I don\'t need
to incrementally upgrade.  I\'ll buy again in a few years -- but the Z will be useful
until it falls apart.

Well said Scott.

From a hardware perspective the Z is complete, not perfect, but complete.  You can enjoy wi-fi, bluetooth, memory expansion, etc through a variety of options.

I would personally like to see us turn our attention toward making the user interface and available software what others envy about the Zaurus.  This is the area we the Zaurus community have the most control over because it is open source.

I applaud the current efforts of the OZ & pdaXrom teams, Zautrix, and the many other developers who are advancing the interface and software options on the Z.  I personnally am looking into how I can contribute, even though I have limited development experience in this area.

Though I think we all would like to see more support from Sharp and see all available Z platforms distributed worldwide, we (the Zaurus community) don\'t have to wait on Sharp to take this device to the next level.

Let\'s get behind the current development efforts and make the Zaurus user experience the envy of all handheld users---we make the difference.

Nice one Scott, it\'s nice to hear good things like that.

Well put, as always ;-)

I get everything I want and need from my Z, I\'m just about to go and sun myself, do a bit of reading, listen to some tunes, all on my Z. Perfect.  My bro is sat in my yard right now, playing a shoot-em up on his 5500 and listening to music, so cool.

I have never had so much fun, from any computer, fullstop. whatever i want to do, i can do with my \"Z\" it blows my tiny mind. Well tiny compared to the power of my \"Z\". It truly amazes me everytime,me and my bro used to talk about the perfect device and how we were never going to get it,but the Z was truly a landmark experience. a computer for the millenium.

ALL HAIL THE \"Z\"..

An excellent sentiment.  With enough community elbow grease, the Zaurus could be everything PocketPC and Palm is (PDAwise), and so much more.

One thing I\'ve noticed is that since the Sharp devnet died, there hasn\'t been a replacement forum I\'ve seen where all the developers congregate.  The ZUG has picked up lots of refugees, but I haven\'t seen as much technical and developement discussion anywhere.  I think changing that will go a long way towards this goal.
