Hi,

Nope, no "network.py" on my box...

Thanks though, it gives me a hint on what to look for (to install) !

You could take a look in /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts (I think)

try : # network.py

Hi,

I was able to install "network.py", and it allowed me to get a connection
at work today.  I had to install lanconfig, python-unixadmin, and
matchbox-pdaxrom to get it to function.

Unfortunately I don't know how to properly shutdown the network,
so I can switch networks (or remove card) without a reboot.  I got LINUX
crashes when I tried yesterday.  I believe I was executing "ifconfig eth0 down",
"cardctl suspend 0", "cardctl eject 0".

I would also like to know how to properly set (all) the required configuration
variables via the command line, but for now I'm content.

Many thanks again,   John
