IRDA synchronize with Outlook
« on: November 16, 2003, 06:55:29 am »
Dear all,

I\'m the happy owner of a C760 for a couple of weeks. I\'m synchronizing the Zaurus with Outlook, using the USB cable and everything works well.

Now, I\'m wondering about synchronizing with the IrDa. Actually, this way should by slower but easier (don\'t need to carry the cable...).

The Inlleysinc software doesn\'t provide a such option...

Could-you please provide-me with some help ?

Thanks a lot.

I don\'t have a c760 I must first say.

I presume that there\'s a TCP/IP option for the connection to the computer. If so then you may be okay. It is possible to run pppd over the IR connection (may take some fiddling on both ends). I think I may have seen someone detailing this on the http://www.zaurus.com/dev/board/ forum. Have a look see there.
