My Zaurus and ScummVM don\'t get along... :(

I recently decided to download ScummVM so I can play Monkey Island on my Z, but for some reason it doesn\'t seem to want to work.

When I install it, it installs fine to my SD card, but says that i have to fulfil package dependencies for it to work.  The only dependency i can find on the net is for libSDL but i hav libSDL_1.2.6cvs-1 installed, and it still doesn\'t work.

If anyone can help me get it working i would extremelly grateful as i fancy some Z swashbuckling.
If it helps, i\'ve got an SL5500 with the Sharp ROM3.10 ,ScummVM_0.5.1-2, and Qtopia 1.5.4.

If you mean Monkey Island 3, its a 640x480 game and require at least 8 megs+ of free memory (not cache) to start on a c7x0 machine and its *very* slow atm.

For dependecies, there is libmad that is also required. At least i think. Btw i think mteira released scummvm 0.6.0 for c7x0 and a new libsdl for c850 machine.

For other version or more info. I dont have a 5500, cant help you much more than that.

i just installed libMad, and reinstalled ScummVM.  it didn\'t say anything about dependency problems this time, but when i run scumm it just looks like its loading, but then nothing happens.  whatsuponz doesn\'t show it running any processes so i can only presume that it doesn\'t load.

I\'m trying to get monkey island 1 to work with it.

the libs i\'ve got installed so far are:

libSDL-mixer 1.2.56cvs-1
libSDL-net 1.2.56cvs-1
libSDL-image 1.2.56cvs-1
libmad 0.14.2b-1

If anyone who has got it working on a SL5500 has got it working, guidance would be appreciated.

I seem to remember having the same problem with ScummVM appearing to do nothing. I found a frontend app called ScummVM.QPE ( http://www.killefiz.de/zaurus/showdetail.php?app=557 ) which helped get it up and running. Hope that helps....
