Well, than I stop hitting the reload button in short regular intervals (I do this since morning).

Sigh, I think I'm addicted.

Well, no release today again. Say it will be done in 4 weeks, or something, but don't say tomorrow if it's not sure. I really want it and it's a bad feeling to be disappointed every night I go to sleep.

Zumi - im very sorry but when we are expecting a release and everything is running just fine and we are just about ready to release. Then "POOFFF" our main programmer (Sash) and builder goes offline and then we can't get in touch with him, its hard to release anything then :-( One of the joys of living in Russian is there is  very well established high bandwidth access everywhere - NOT!!

So maybe just go outside and have a coke and a smile - and stop hitting Refresh when you instead could be clicking banners (remeber to click different banners by going to different parts off the site   ). Banner clicks => money => money to bribe ISP in Russia => ISP will get Sash online => Sash will be able to upload and developer faster and eaiser :-)

That is a real pity.

Have you guys considered joining with the open embedded guys at all? It seems they have the hosting and build system you guys seem to need to open the project up. And Im sure they could do with your expertise.

The OpenEmbedded project would be glad to have the pdaXrom using our build system and contributing to the metadata.

I might add that it would by no means mean that they would need to give up parts of their distribution. OpenEmbedded is a distribution independent build tool and metadata. Everyone can add what he need to build his distribution and we have a lot of synergie effects by working together.

See http://openembedded.org/oe_wiki/index.php/SuccessStories - and this is just the beginning!

P.S. The recent SL6000 support was added by me _blindly_, i.e. without even having the machine. This demonstrates how easy new machine specifics can be added to OE.

ehm... and what about the stylus input? no handwriting recognition?

Affraid not - we are looking into http://www.handhelds.org/projects/xscribble.html - but "anyone" should be able to compile it and use it. We will probally come back with that later :-)
What about xstroke?  It works perfectly on pdaXrom 1.1.0 RC2.  See this post for the link to the xstroke ipk:

https://www.oesf.org/forums/inde...indpost&p=34225

From the screenshots I have seen of xscribble it's no where near as nice xstroke but maybe it has some more features and a better interface since they were taken?
