Installed version 0.0.9 & can't uninstall

I installed 0.0.9 before I read all the posts here (Doh!).  Read about the resolution bug and suggestion to go back to 0.0.8.  Well, when I do an ipkg remove, I get the following error messages:
sed: -e expression #1, char 23: Unknown command: ``m''
sed: -e expression #1, char 23: Unknown command: ``m''

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You dont have to uninstall. Just grab the ipk of the v0.08 and extract the binary executable "Xqt" and replace /home/QtPalmtop/bin/Xqt.

That ought to do it.
