I had a search through the forums but can't seem to find anything can anyone tell me how to re-associate .pdf with the PDF viewer rather than Opera?

I am running 1.2.1b Cacko on C860

Excellant thanks very much it now launches in QPDF2. As for finding the right post sorry I obviously didn't search the right way!

The only other problem I have is that everytime I load a pdf file it seems to create a xml file of the same name - why is this?

That's a function of QPDF2.  IIRC, it uses the XML file to store the TOC & bookmarks for the PDF.

Hm,

unfortunately, this doesn't work on my install:

Error writing notes: QPdf was unable to save your notes. "No such file or directory"

Any hints are welcome...
