Icon in matchbox

Hey all

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I just can't seem to get this to work.  I've got vim/gvim 6.3 built for rc5 now (and am building an ipk for it as soon as I get this stupid icon setup hehe).  I'm trying to use the png icons that come iwth the vim distribution as icons in matchbox (using a 'gvim.desktop' file in /usr/share/applications).  I specify:

Icon=vim48x48.png
I have copied vim48x48.png to /usr/share/pixmaps.  The icon shows up as garbage on the screen when I restart X, though.  I can view it just fine in gqview, though.

Any suggestions?  Is there a specific format that the icon must be in?

png should work fine.... i dont think it needs to be anything different than what you mentioned.  i created a desktop icon for kismet, and it views fine.

Feel like posting your kismet icon?  I've been playing around with making one but i'd really like to see some other people's ideas.
