I just repaired my air conditioner, this is the only reason I'm coding.

Okay, it's because the weather here in Hungary is rainy and cold since about 5 days and I don't want to go out doing things.
It's outrageous that I can't test my recently made Solar-Zaurus-Charger in these weather-conditions!  Gimme sunlight!

hello laze.  thanks for all your good work!

just for my (and perhaps for all the CFU1 holders') hope, it could be tremendously a good idea to re-compile a CFU1 driver completely from source files (i'd try it myself if i had a crosscompiling environment.)  the one distributed at the web site (http://paipai.org/~humorum/pukiwiki/) doesnt work well on pdaxrom and causes some problems like segfaults depending on the usb devices used.  perhaps we will have to wait till you decide to move to 2.6.x kernel, where CFU1 seems to be supported natively?

for me with CFU1 working on pdaxrom there'll be little reason to go back to the original sharp rom.

Dammit. So it's cold there too. Let's code!

About being dead: I started to update the [a href=\"http://www.pdaxrom.org]http://www.pdaxrom.org[/url] site with more up-to-date info, so once again it's interesting to go there and look around.

A little bit of info what Sashz is doing nowadays:
He develops new low level graphics engine/device drivers to Xserver. It will replace aticore and pxa routines in Xservers for corgi, tosa and akita devices and he expects a serious speed improvement from it. (more than 15%)
So to summarize it: new graphics driver will rule.

You got 1fps now in battalion and maybe it will be 20% faster.  He doesn't mod an ATi X850 into it, he writes a new driver.

I don't know anyway if it will affect only 2D or 3D. I think only 2D because 3D doesn't accelerated by the video chip. But hopefully X will be more speedy and maybe videos with mplayer will be faster and more resource friendly too (but this last one is only an assumption).
