sl5600 (pxa255) for trade

My wife bricked my c760 (spilled a full glass of coke on it, I cried)  

Using pdaxrom for so long, I'm having a hard time appreciating qtopia.  Sure the switch to a pocketpc pda isn't going to help my withdrawls, but having something new to play with is good enough for me while I wait a few months to replace my c760.

Looking for a pocketpc with similar hardware specs as the 5600.

Built in keypad is not important.  I've gotten where I perfer the handwritting recongizer anyway.

So if you know anybody with a pocketpc that loves your zaurus, please let them know about me...

I'll preinstall any rom and any apps that are available.

128mb SD card (formatted to ext2)
WCF12 WiFi card.  (802.11b)
Sharp camera card.

I've had a brando screen protector on the screen since about a week after I bought it 9 months ago.  I honestly can not remember if there are any scratches on it or not.  If I get any serious offers I will pull the screen protector off and check if requested.

I can't think of anything else I can tell you about this.  Never been over clocked, lightly used.  It is really in great shape.

Did you send the unit in for repair or are you giving it up for dead?

Reason I ask is becuase if you are giving it up for dead, you might as well take the risk and dissassmble it and see if you can drain/clean/dry it out...Oftentimes that is all an eleectronic device needs.  Besides, If it is outside of warranty, you'll have to pay for the repair, so it doesn't hurt to try a fix yourself if you are careful and confident in your skill.

Thanks for the tip Omicron, but I've disasembled and cleaned the heck out of it.  I'm willing to bet that my bricked c760's insides are the cleanest out there

I'm guessing there is a short in the board.  The spilled happened right before I had to leave for work, so I didn't have much time to act. (I found some black residue while cleaning the insides out with a q-tip, furthers my therory that something got fried).  

My biggest mistake was not removing the battery after it happened.  I simply wiped the keyboard down and put it in suspend.  I thought about it after I got to work, by then it was to late to act.  I'm sure if I would have removed the battery things would have been different.
